Curren Katz, PhD

CEO | Chief AI and Innovation Officer

Curren Katz holds a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Humboldt University in Berlin and a Master's in Neuroscience from Harvard. As a former Fortune 100 executive at Johnson & Johnson, Multiplan, and Highmark Health, Dr. Katz has led large-scale AI initiatives across healthcare and pharma. At Highmark, she built and scaled a full Data Science department and Research Institute, developing AI models to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and streamline operations. Her work has earned patents and international recognition through collaborations with IBM, Bosch, and NASA. Dr. Katz is also an IEEE Certified Trainer and Evaluator, authorized to issue CE mark certifications for global standards in process governance.

Chad Austin, MBA, MS

Chad Austin is a former Fortune 100 executive with leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, Highmark Health, Bosch, and IBM. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University. A Master Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma-certified expert, Chad has led over 225 digital transformations, including AI and ML implementations, across organizations ranging from $10 million startups to $100 billion enterprises. As IBM’s dual practice lead for Healthcare and Industrial Manufacturing, he specialized in aligning R&D, product development, and customer delivery through operational redesign and strategic AI deployment.
